概述

Sulfo-NHS-Biotin (sulfosuccinimidobiotin) enables simple and efficient labeling of antibodies, proteins and anyother primary amine-containing molecules. Biotin is a vitamin that binds with high affinity to avidin and strept avidin proteins. Because it is small (244 Da), biotin can be conjugated to many proteins without altering their biological activities. Labeled proteins can be purified from unlabeled proteins using immobilized strept avidin and avidin and detected in ELISA, dot blot or Western blot applications using strept avidin or avidin-conjugated probes.
