CA72-4 is a glycoprotein found on the surface of many malignant carcinoma cells, including colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer and pancreatic cancer. Several published studies have evaluated the diagnostic performance of serum CA72-4 as biomarker for colorectal cancer diagnosis.
